Gospel for Asia (GFA) plants churches among the unreached of Asia by training and sending out native missionaries within their own countries. Each year, many of our 13,500 missionaries and the churches they have planted face severe persecution and sometimes death due to their bold stand for the Gospel. GFA was founded in 1979 by Dr. K.P. Yohannan who experienced persecution himself while preaching the Gospel in India.

GFA currently has 13,500 full-time missionaries working throughout Nepal, Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and other Indian-subcontinent countries.
In addition, over 6,900 students are preparing for future ministry in over 133 three-year Bible schools.
GFA native missionaries have planted over 21,000 fellowships in the last decade.
Each month the GFA Bible Society prints and distributes 300,000 New Testaments and Bibles in many languages. As well, GFA prints over 50 million copies of tracts and various Gospel literature each year.
GFA Radio now broadcasts in 55 languages to a potential audience of nearly a billion people.
